#240 | too-old | UniAUD fails to install (UniaudInstall-1.09.06-1.09.26.zip)
Description |
New OS/2 installation with MMOS/2 but no sound driver installed. Attempting to install UniAUD from UniaudInstall?-1.09.06-1.09.26.zip has no effect. MINSTALL.EXE returns success but the driver is not installed, no files are copied and no configuration files are updated. I have reproduced this on both eCS 2.1 and ArcaOS beta on the same system. Command: minstall.exe /* Program returns immediately with the following output: MINSTALL - Multimedia Installer (CLI/CID) - by Kiewitz Return-Code 0 (CID: Success) |

#239 | fixed | Uniaud should support the CAT 0x80 audio IOCTL
Description |
If possible, it would be good if UNIAUD would support the CAT 0x80 Audio IOCTLs, in particular the CAT 0x80 / Func 0x42 AUDIO_CONTROL Ioctl. Use of unimix.exe works but in my opinion the use of unimix.exe is not very convenient for the normal user (it's also not obvious to most users that you have to run unimix on every system start in order to set up the controls) and also it would be nice to at least support OS/2 native master volume control GUI element. |

#238 | fixed | Allowing selection of a HW instance
Description |
Unfortunately, this PC has 2 sound devices: one on-board device and one device located on the NVIDIA graphics card. For me that results in the inability to play any sound. It would be helpful if via config.sys commandline switch one could select what sound device is to be used. |
