#195 too-old No sound on Asus P5PL2 motherboard with AD1986A robh
Description

I've tried several versions of Uniaud drivers, including the latest, but none produce any sound on my system. Checked with both Unimix and Lbmix: all channels open. Hardware is OK: sound with Linux an WinXP.

#194 too-old Problems with uniaud195-1924 (2nd release) losepete
Description

I installed uniaud32.sys, uniaud16.sys, unimix.exe and uniaud.dll files to update the existing uniaud installation and powered off the system.

When I booted several hours later the system got as far as loading the underlying Desktop background colour and played the Startup sound followed by a "bleep" and the system hung.

I rebooted and the system then booted to the Desktop successfully - no "bleep" and no hang; no repeating sounds (or parts of) either.

However, this build of uniaud has the same problems as *all* other recent builds with the following:-

1] Tried a standard OS/2 game, Klondike Solitaire: It runs very slowly now during dealing and moving cards. Possibly waiting on sound events?

2] No audio when running WindowsXP in a VirtualPC

Item 2] makes this build - and most builds since 1.9.2 - unusable here.

#193 too-old VIA 1616 ICEnsamble sys3175
Description

I have now tested out about 10 different builds, all of the builds which support this device fail to make any sounds (the error beep does not occur). The driver is loaded properly, I can record on the mic input, there is no output on speakers and the line out plays some audio but at much lower gain then even a line out should have. So no sound output at all basically.
