To be confirmed when exactly this started, but uniaud32-next, based on code from kernel 5.4.86 has issues with mixer controls.

For example, uniaud -names shows (partial list only):

UPDATE.CMD would try to install UNIAUD.DLL, which is not in a DLL directory of the package and which is not located in the x:\MMOS2\DLL directory.
