    1818 1. Unzip ftp://ftp.netlabs.org/pub/gcc/alpha/baselayout.zip to the {{{%UNIXROOT%}}} drive or directory. Among other directories, this creates the required {{{/etc}}} directory as mentioned in prerequisites step 3.
