    11When using ndpsmb.dll 2.1 (possibly all 3.3 based client plugins) an eventually available smb.conf is not loaded.

    3 The reason ist that the client (unlike the server) allocates a filesize for loading that does not respect that OS/2 is using CR/LF in text files. The allocated amount of memory is therefore too small, the file cannot be loaded.
     3The reason ist that the client (unlike the server) reads the file as if it was only CR and not CR/LF.

    55Workaround: Change smb.conf for the client from CR/LF to CR.
