In one of the school laboratories, the R8110 is not working. Under XP or Ubuntu connectivity is ok, so it is an os2 specific problem. This happens with 0.1.3 build, but also affected previous releases. No problem if moving to a different school lab or when using home lan. Could be related to 0000000000 mac address? |

Hello Folks; I was using the rtgnda13.zip and thought I would try the R8110 driver, because rtgnda does not get the mac address. Although the driver, R8110$, appears to load at startup, there is no internet connection and lantran.log reports this: IBM OS/2 LANMSGDD [05/21/04] 6.00 is loaded and operational. IBM OS/2 LAN Netbind PRO0021: A general failure occurred when the program tried to bind TCPIP_NIF to R8110_NIF. Any ideas? |

the e1000e driver will load with no error message at bootup, but then netbind and ifconfig fail because of the missing interface, with the uniaud retail driver all is working fine. Uniaud reports itself as Uniaud32 version 2.1.3-BETA SVNr550-DEBUG. As there is no debug version of the e1000e driver available no additional logs are provided. |
