    1 I successfully built openjdk with more logging however I got a very strange problem with this build: it can't start a new thread that is used by the plugin for some AWT initialization. The Thread.start method works, but Thread.join never returns and the first statement of the new thread's run() method is never executed. As a result, the AWT code with custom debugging is never called. The stock OpenJDK (which should be the very same source) doesn't have this problem but it also doesn't have extra custom debugging... I will try to substitute some files.
