Description

When virus checking is enabled and the drive-letter feature is used, AiR-BOOT v1.0.8-rc3 mistakenly thinks a virus is active in the PBR.

Solution:

  • Hold down the shift key when AiR-BOOT is about to start
    This will cause it to enter SETUP right away
  • Disable the virus checking

This will be fixed in the next RC.

#6 fixed AB destroys active flag on all harddisks. Ben Rietbroek Allan
Description

First time AB is used, it seems to delete active flags on all HD's in the system. This leaves all other HD's impossible to boot from BIOS.

As AB can only be installed to first HD, this is a nasty habbit. I need to be able to boot all my disks from BIOS.

BM never touched the active flags.
