== Trouble Shooting ==

OS2AHCI (v 1.17 and later) contains its own trace facility. If you encounter unexpected behaviour that does not lead to a kernel trap, you can easily create a log file to include in your bug report. This is explained [wiki:AhciTrace here].

If there is a kernel trap, either a dump partition or a serial port with a null modem cable (much preferred) is required. See [wiki:AhciTrap here] for further info.
