#34 fixed Canceled deletion deletes anyway but reports no file(s) deleted Gregg Young Lewis Rosenthal
Description

Pressing Ctrl-C during a del operation results in the current deletion completing, yet not being counted as a deleted file in the resulting report. In addition, the bytes freed count is incorrect (too low).

Example:

[j:\]del some-huge-file.dat
Deleting J:\some-huge-file.dat
^C
0 files deleted 18,587,648 bytes freed

[j:\]del some-huge-file.dat /f
There are no more files. "J:\some-huge-file.dat"
     0 files deleted

[j:\]undelete /f some-huge-file.dat
Discarding J:\some-huge-file.dat.

J:\SOME-HUGE-FILE.DAT
Do you want to discard this file (Y/N)?
y

The file in question was 756,717,655 bytes in length. Allowing for space on disk, surely more than 18,587,648 bytes had to have been freed.

#8 fixed Clicking Help when starting option2.exe yields "Text not found" error in help viewer somebody Lewis Rosenthal
Description

Just upgraded to:

4OS2 3.05A OS/2 Version is 4.50 4OS2 Revision A (162, Feb 7 2010 17:27:09) OS/2 Revision A

(not sure what "OS/2 Revision A" is, though...) ;-)

Anyway, at the 4OS2 prompt, I typed, "option <Enter>" and when the configuration notebook appeared, I clicked Help. NewView? 2.18.1 opened up and immediately displayed the contents on the left, a white page on the right, and a popup message with the above text.

Lewis

PS - Not sure which component1 is and which component2 is in Trac, here...

#75 fixed Consider adding directory support to TOUCH command Steven Levine Lewis Rosenthal
Description

Currently, TOUCH only allows setting timestamps on files, but not directories. This is an RFE to add support to TOUCH to change timestamps on directories, as well.

Example:

{0}[j:\] touch /dc04-17-09 /tc00:49:58 f:\1040
SYS0002: The system cannot find the file specified. "F:\1040"

where 1040 is indeed a directory under the root of F:.
