#54 | fixed | Specifying touch.exe instead of touch should not use the internal touch
Description |
In order to make compiling Christian's apps work with the touch option for release versions, touch.exe has to be used. Executing the internal touch command of 4os2 is not compatible. Many years ago, my workaround was to append '.exe' to the 'touch' call. Christian and Andi (hi!) applied that, too. I haven't tried it since then again. On compiling the DOSBox .wpi, Jochen told me that he had problems. I searched and found out that he uses a recent 4os2. Needless to say that making the release worked with CMD. The current workaround would be to use the full path %UNIXROOT%\usr\bin\touch.exe. But from my POV, that's a bug. 4os2 should better search for an .exe file in PATH, if '.exe' was specified. Again: That worked in an older version. This is version 3.08.3-shl, as distributed with ArcaOS 5.0.1, I think. |

#47 | fixed | TEXT does not seem to accept variables or variable functions
Description |
It would be useful to allow TEXT to expand some variables or perform functions. Unfortunately, this does not seem to be possible. Example: TEXT Please expand %full[%0]. ENDTEXT
results in I'm not reporting this as a defect, because AFAICT, this is likely WAD. |

Description |
While the help says that /P should pause the display, this does not occur. So: {0}[c:\] tree /P c:\ seems to output continuously. |
